MANAGEMENT & IMPLEMENTATION - Artifact 2: Project Definition

The project definition marks the starting point of a project. This document defines the goal and scope of the project as well as all other crucial aspects, such as the project team, budget, and timeline. The following example is a short version of such a document. The project plan detailing the timeline was submitted and approved separately.

Context
  • This project definition was created in February 2003 to kick off the development of a new course evaluation system.
  • The project was sponsored by the Office for Distributed and Distance Learning and managed by me under the supervision of Dr. B. Armstrong.
